Larger than Life represents James. He was and is larger than life. There was no mountain too high, no river too deep, no hurdle too impossible to overcome. A quote he often said was "I'm James Taylor - I'll make it happen." And he did, many times. He was a man of big dreams and big plans, and saw many of them become a reality. His optimistic ways were loved by many of us, I'm sure.

James had an incredible mind and was an entrepreneur. He had no health insurance at his time of passing, and his family is left with an insurmountable debt. We are asking anyone who feels led to make a donation that will help his family get through this difficult time.

James had a revelation in the summer of 2003. He really felt God leading him in the direction of forming and playing in a band. With his ability to write amazing lyrics, and collaboration musically with Tim Jimenez, he put together some inspiring songs. Other members of the band included Bernie Viera, Chris Camareno, and Joe Brito. The band was named Simage Image, but never got to be produced. James loved music and wanted to write and perform for the glory of God.
We would like to bless you with a cd comprised of 6 of the songs by James and the band when you make a donation.

The James Taylor Project is this site, made by and for people who loved him. It is to be used to remember him, to celebrate him, and to help his family

James A. Taylor was 44 years old when he suffered from a massive stroke. Though we had dozens, most likely hundreds, of people praying for his recovery, God had a different plan. He is at home now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Though we miss him terribly, we rest in the knowledge that we will one day be reunited with our dear friend.

He is survived by his wife, Lorin and children Gabrielle, Whitney, and Pierce. Our love and prayers are with them now as they find their way without their husband and daddy to lead them.
